🍔 Labor Day Cookout & 2nd Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta

Date: Sunday, August 31st, 2025
Cookout Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM (under the tent)
Regatta Time: 2:00 PM (at the pool)
Location: New Albany Links
Cost: Complimentary for Social Members | $15 per Member Guest (paid at check-in)

Celebrate Labor Day with an afternoon full of food, fun, and friendly competition! Start with a delicious cookout under the tent, then stick around for the excitement of our 2nd Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta at the pool.

Cookout Features:
• Buffet with BBQ ribs, hot dogs, baked beans, pasta salad, cole slaw, watermelon & desserts
• Bounce House
• Refreshments & Cash Bar
• Pool opens at 11:00 AM

Cardboard Boat Regatta – Race Begins at 2:00 PM:
• Boats must be built ahead of time using only cardboard and duct/gorilla tape
• Teams can have 1–10 participants, with 1–2 people racing each boat
• Life jackets required during race
• Prize: Pizza party for the winning team (to be scheduled on a later date)
• Open to Social Members and their guests
